Answers to your questions
How do Hydratis tablets work to hydrate the body?
Rehydration solutions contain a precise dosage of minerals, sodium and glucose to allow rapid assimilation of liquids and thus rehydrate the body quickly and effectively while compensating for electrolyte loss. It is this physiological principle that has made it possible to reduce infant mortality significantly in many developing countries.
What is the shelf life of Hydratis once prepared?
Once the tablet has dissolved in water, we recommend throwing the solution away after 24 hours.
How does Hydratis differ from regular energy drinks?
Hydratis is higher and more varied in electrolytes with 5 mineral salts (sodium, potassium, magnesium, manganese, chloride, zinc) and lower in sugar (less than 1% for a glass of water). Standard energy drinks are usually high in sugars (6-8%) and contain little or no electrolytes.
How much Hydratis should I take for sports or exercise?
The dose varies depending on the intensity and duration of the sport or physical exercise. To maintain good hydration, you must compensate for the loss of fluid and electrolytes. The dose must therefore equal the quantity lost. We advise you to put 2 tablets in a 500 ml bottle to renew as often as necessary. It is recommended to drink every 15 to 20 minutes during exercise.
Can Hydratis be taken after drinking alcohol?
Yes. Alcohol consumption causes dehydration. For example, the resulting headache on waking is dehydration of the brain. We recommend taking 2 lozenges in a glass of water before going to bed, to renew on waking.
Can Hydratis be taken daily?
Yes. Hydratis can allow you to prevent slight dehydration linked to daily life, particularly during physical exertion or in hot and dry environments (such as in air-conditioned offices or in summer) and also when you forget to drink enough in the day. Good hydration will keep you in better shape.
